    • Hello Peter,
Welcome to my blog, it’s always nice to meet others on a similar journey.
Thanks for the reblog, it was my lovely friend Angel that shared it with me.
      Love and hugs. xx 🙂

    • Thank you my friend,
Your comment is something to ponder on Eileen, this video is very fresh in it’s aproach.
You KNOW how I love poetry, and Jesus. So this really speaks to my heart.
Love and hugs my friend. xx 🙂

  1. Lees!

I wanted to let you know that this video has caused quite a stir in the Christian community and there are people who are offended or find it off putting. I wanted to let you know in case someone felt the need to comment in a negative way on here.

I also want to point to anyone who may be offended at the video, it is a form of expression. It is poetry. He is not giving rules, advice, or claiming all truths through his words. He is also not defining religion, he is expressing any religion that puts us into bondage that could be our beliefs in any institutional system that we feel we no longer have identity. It is a system that makes us feel that we must “do” in order to be accepted.

I find it disturbing at all of the posts and comments people have made about the video. I see and understand their points, but I also know the difference between creative expression and someone claiming to have the “new” answer. It’s poetry, poetry is formed to make us think, contemplate, respect the expression and the person expressing it.

Sorry Lees! I went on a tangent.

    I hope it’s ok!

    Love you!! 🙂

    • Hello my lovely Angel,
You KNOW I love your tangents, thanks for the warning, you know how obliviously aloof I can be. Don’t worry God has got it…also my spam box helps out too! hehehe
      Love you my lovely friend.
      Lees. xxx 🙂

      • Don’t worry if someone lashes out or attacks. What he says in this video is truth. Besides, the Bible is full of examples of religious leaders and the like lashing out at Jesus and his followers for the very same message. Sometimes the truth can be hard to hear, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

Thank-you for posting this ((hugs)) 🙂

  2. Thank-you for sharing this. This was beautifully done and speaks so much truth into a world of hurt, confusion, and judgemental attitudes.

I am reminded of a phrase I once heard early on in my faith that I never let go of. I can’t quote it, but the main jist of it was relationship vs religion. Seek a relationship with Him, not a religion about Him.

    • Hi there,
So glad you enjoyed this video and I am really enjoying your posts.
Thanks for all your encouraging comments, it means so much to me.
      Love and hugs.
      Lisa. xx 🙂

  3. I’ve seen this, and can’t remember when I first saw it. It’s very interesting. I like it and the way it’s presented. I’ve struggled with the tension between “religion” and Jesus for a long time. There are many definitions of “religion,” and I think that’s the problem. Many people are afraid of theology, but good theology is what can keep us from getting bogged down in “religion.” Thanks for sharing this, Lisa. Hugs!

    • Hey Jeff, sorry my friend I somehow missed your comment.
How are you and the family? I need to get over to your blog and have a read.
I’ve been so bad at keeping up with reading. Oh the joy of being dyslexic.
Keeping you in prayer my friend.
      Love and hugs.
      Lisa. xx 🙂

  4. A great piece of work. Astute, timely, well thought out and filled with thought provoking inspiration. Classical in every regard; profound documentation of man’s involvement with the Church – yet, devinely instrumental in showing our separation. Not with God, for the Church is through Jesus Christ – and there are no walls or ceiling to Christ’s church. We are the Church – we who live in Christ and have Christ dwell in us.

A great work, my friend. Truly a work of inspiration and thought.

If you have no objection, I would be honored to reblog your work, sharing it with others.

Thank you for this piece and the sharing of it with all of us.

    • Thank you altruistico,
My lovely friend Angel put me onto this video, I love poetry and I love Jesus too!
So I totally enjoyed watching this. I found it so very inspiring.
      Love and hugs.
      Lisa. xx 🙂

  5. I love this video! It explains the gospel so well. I don’t hate religion and have found a church where I feel spiritually fed, but I agree so much that Christianity is not about all of the things people make it out to be. I don’t vote Republican and don’t believe the earth is only 6000 years old, but I believe in Jesus and he has changed me from the inside out. That’s what it is all about.
