I got it…I pinned him down!

Well not really, it’s Mother’s Day…*AJ decorated my envelope.

Although when he was little I was forever chasing him and pinning him down.

He never seemed to have any clothes on, and getting him to eat ANYTHING was a nightmare.

You may remember a few days ago, my “ME meme!”

I tried to get him to draw me a picture for the ME meme, he kept finding other things to do.

BUT…today he blessed me with his humble effort. He’s an academic, his hand writing is not something he prides himself on either.

I’m so very glad that our Aspie kids have got the technology today and can excel in what they are good at.

You know what…I love that my precious son put his thoughts and feeling onto my Mother’s Day envelope.

I love my kids, they are so very quirky.

*AJ’s Me meme is added at the end of this…the original post. 🙂

Hello my lovely bloggy friends!!

My friend the lovely Laura…..“Life in the House That Asperger Built,”

has tagged me in this meme.

It’s right up my street actually,

I got totally excited about it and wanted to draw a picture myself…LOL.

Trying to pin down my 17 year old hyper child (*AJ) to do this Meme, has been an impossible task.

He has FAR too many other busy things to be doing and people to see…get what I’m saying.

I wouldn’t have him any other way…he’s just perfect.

My little *CAL however,

Once told about this, did her happy dance and clapped her hands and has been asking constantly,

“When Mama, when can I do it Mama?”

I couldn’t leave it any longer waiting for *AJ, she needed to express this side of her lovely self.

Ok, so here’s the deal:

  • Ask your child to draw a picture of you. It doesn’t matter how old they are…
  • Post the picture on your blog.
  • Call it the ‘This is Me Meme’.
  • Pop over to here and add to the linky.
  • Then tag some others

Here is my *CAL’s image of ME.

Mom…in Aspie-happy land.

She said I’m in my Aspie-happy land and dancing to ABBA.

Isn’t that just lovely!!!

Ok, my turn to tag…let’s see..who shall I tag???

Here is the picture that my beautiful boy

decorated my Mother’s Day card envelope with and I love it.

    • Hello my lovely Fi,
I had a feeling you would notice that. It’s their Aspieness!
They have picked it up from copying others.
I just go with it now.
*CAL changes hers often. I can be Mom, Mum, Mommy, Mummy, Mama.
With *AJ it’s always Mum, Mother or Mudda.
      I love you.
      Lees. xxxx

  1. it’s nothing new ,one time my older sister used to write to our mother after she moved away .She used the word mum .
I thought since you live in England ,that most people spell it that way .
    hugs & blessings

  2. This is a really good idea. I love A.J’s picture. I actually think he is artistic, but he is definitely an academic. Love you xxxx
