Do you notice?

Do you notice this world
only sees what it can?
When it hears the tears
Cried out of mankind
It wipes its brow
Then clears its mind
From feeling anything but itself
It’s focus on material wealth
Distracts it from the pain of empathy
Stops the flow of tearful sympathy
And cradles its need to feed its greed
By closing its eyes to God’s True seed

How strange…I was thinking about this very concept last night…something about great minds thinking alike.
